Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the Android app You Only Die Once (the “App”), developed by Lars Haider as a free hobby project.
Summary
The App does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting, and it does not request the internet permission.
Data stored on your device
The App stores which bosses you have marked as killed. This progress is kept only in a local database on your device and never leaves it through the App.
Device backup
If Android backup is enabled on your device, the system may include the App’s progress in your device backup to your Google account. This backup is handled by Google under Google’s privacy policy; the developer has no access to it. You can turn backup off in your device settings.
Permissions
The App requests no permissions.
Deleting your data
You can reset a game’s progress in the App. Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage removes all of its data from your device.
Children
Since the App collects no data, it collects no data from children either.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
